NEW YORK (NBC NEWS/WWLP) – On Tuesday, start-up company Eaze released the Eaze-Up App. The app allows customers to order medical marijuana and track the delivery.
The company says once it checks eligibility of customers, it will deliver medical marijuana from a dispensary to the recipient in an average of 10-minutes. The drivers, refereed to as “caregivers,” are paid by the dispensaries so the service is free to customers.
Anna Arbuzova of Springfield told 22News, “It does bring benefit towards the older population or people in general that can’t get the means of that type of marijuana. It also brings consequences such as no personal contact or exercise.”
Right now, Eaze is focused on delivery in southern California, Colorado and Washington State.
