LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The Princeton Review released their selections for the 379 top colleges for 2015. The categories range from campus life and political affiliation to top party and sober schools.
No parent wants to see their child’s college on the list of top 20 party schools, but when it’s time to choose a school, Princeton’s annual reviews aren’t really a consideration.
One local father, Brian Walker of Longmeadow, told 22News he’ll be sending his son off to college next year. He said it’s a decision that won’t involve lists like Princeton Review.
“My kids pretty focused on what he wants to do in life or whatever so I’m sure he’s going to go to the best school that’s suitable for what he does which is speaking Chinese mandarin,” said Walker.
Syracuse University is listed as this year’s number one party school and Brigham Young University topped off the list of sober schools.
The Princeton Review College ranking is based off of a survey taken by 130-thousand students who are currently in college.
