Pittsfield fire injures two firefighters

PITTSFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – Three Pittsfield families are without a home after a fire on Daniels Avenue.

According to a Pittsfield Fire report sent to 22News, firefighters were called to 133 Daniels Ave. just after 10:30 Monday night, for a fire on the first floor.

Everyone was able to make it out safely. Two firefighters had to be treated for heat exhaustion and inhaling smoke.

Firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused the fire. The Red Cross is helping those three families with a place to stay.
