New report ranks the most hackable cars on the road

Built-in apps and Bluetooth make cars vulnerable

NEW YORK (CNN) – With computers controlling more and more of the cars we drive, our cars are more vulnerable to hackers.

A new report ranks the 2014 Jeep Cherokee as the most hackable car on the road today. The biggest vulnerability is the cars’ built-in apps and Bluetooth, which connect the car to services such as OnStar.

However, experts say the chance of someone breaking into that kind of complex system is slim.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade and 2014 Toyota Prius also made the list for most hackable. The 2014 Dodge Viper and 2014 Audi A8 were the least hackable.
