HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Absentee ballots are now available through Holyoke’s registrar of voters’ office for the September 9 primary election.
Residents who are registered voters and want to vote absentee may request a ballot through the mail, or vote in person at the registrar of voters’ office.
Absentee voting will conclude September 8 at noontime, the day before Election Day.
Those who are not registered to vote or want to change party enrollment have until 8 P.M. on August 20 to do so.
In Massachusetts, voters can vote by absentee ballot if they will be absent from their city or town on Election Day, cannot go to the polls due to a physical disability, or cannot go to the polls because of religious beliefs.
