BOSTON (WWLP) – The 34-year-old man pleaded guilty to 16 counts of sexual exploitation of minors by producing and possessing child pornography.

According to the U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz, between May 13th, 2011 and August 24th, 2012, Jason Gendron of Pittsfield produced 16 files of child pornography.

Most of the video files showed Gendron having “sexually explicit conduct” with two, three, eight, and 13-years-old girls. Also, on July 16th, 2013, he had other files of child pornography.

Gendron will be sentenced to 40 to 50 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, according to his plea agreement. He also agreed to pay restitution to the girls shown in the videos, and forfeit his computer media. Gendron faces a maximum $250,000 fine on each count.

The case was investigated by the Massachusetts State Police, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the Pittsfield Police Department. It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven H. Breslow of Ortiz’s Springfield Branch Office.
