Delivery driver lured into armed robbery, police say

Domino's pizza driver held up at gunpoint

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday afternoon. Springfield Police Sgt Brian Beliveau told 22News that the gunman was waiting when the driver arrived to make a delivery on Trafton Road in the city’s Forest Park neighborhood.

Sgt Beliveau said the man forced the driver back into the delivery car, and stole $15 and the driver’s I-Phone. Police believe the armed thief lured the driver to Trafton Road by calling in a phony order, and was waiting for him.
