Brain Balance Center helps children in West Springfield

Program helps children overcome challenges without medication

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A new program in West Springfield aims to help children improve their lives socially, and academically.

The Brain Balance Achievement Center in West Springfield helps children who struggle with school, behavioral and social issues overcome their challenges without using medications. The programs co-director told 22News they’ve got unique methods that produce amazing results.

“We see sometimes in those three months kids get off medication, they no longer need academic accommodations like IEPs. Kids come in here angry a lot of times and walk out in control of their bodies and their emotions,” said Talitha Abramsen.

The program works by determining which side of the brain is weaker than the other. Program directors than create a regiment for your child to help them develop their weaker side without medications.
