Part of Center St. in Ludlow was closed for downed power line

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Center Street (Route 21) in Ludlow was closed between Rood Street and Church Street Tuesday evening, due to a downed power line.

Ludlow Police Lt. Joseph Metcalfe told 22News that the line came down after it was struck by a tractor trailer around 1:30 P.M. The road reopened at around 7:00 P.M.

The incident caused a power outage. As of 7:00 P.M., all Western Massachusetts Electric Company customers in Ludlow had power back.
