WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – It didn’t take Victor Andino long before noticing vandalism at the martial arts school where he serves as a camp counselor. When coming to work at the U.S. Tae Kwon Do Center in Wilbraham Monday, he saw that someone had ripped a security camera monitor out of the pool house ceiling and threw it into the pool. He then walked outside to call the center’s owner, when he noticed more damages.
“The first thing that I saw was that somebody came into the pool, they threw all the chairs, all the stuff that we had in the pool, and a table, they threw it all inside the pool. After that, I called my boss to let him know what happened,” Andino said.
Shortly after, Wilbraham Police arrived at the camp to investigate the incident, and were given surveillance footage from a different monitor that the suspects must have missed.
The owner told 22News that shortly after the police left, the camp was back to its normal schedule, including all swimming activities. He also said the footage handed over to police was able to capture video of the suspects, who he described as teenagers. The incident took place around midnight when the camp was vacant, and the owner added that parents shouldn’t worry, nothing like this has ever happened before.
