LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow police say a man who shot at a house during a domestic dispute before taking his own life, fired his 9mm Beretta handgun a total of 11 times. Police Sgt. Daniel Valadas identified the shooter as 41 year-old Bruce W. Brissette, Jr. of Ludlow.

Sgt. Michael Brennan told 22News that shortly before 6:30 Sunday night, police were called to 24 Helena Street. A woman inside the home told police that her estranged husband was shooting at her house. The woman, her two children, and a niece were barricaded inside a room, and were unhurt. They later got out of the house through a front window with the help of police.
