Indecent exposure alert issued by Sunderland Police

Pants-less man has been approaching women, asking for directions

SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in Franklin County are warning residents about a pants-less man who has been driving around, asking women for directions. The Sunderland police department posted on their official Facebook page that the alleged incidents happened Wednesday afternoon near the 7-11 Plaza on Route 116.

In separate calls, a group of women and another woman who was alone reported being approached by a man in an older, rusting, tan-colored small car (possibly a Honda). The man, who wasn’t wearing any clothes from the waist down, asked them for directions.

He is described as a balding white man in his mid to late 30s. Police are looking to see whether there is surveillance video from the plaza, so they can get a license plate number for the car.
