Man killed in Pittsfield motorcycle crash

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A Pittsfield man has died in a motorcycle accident in the city.

Police say 49-year-old John Kenney was operating a motorcycle when he struck a sedan that was making a left turn at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Kenney was treated at the crash site before being taken to Berkshire Medical Center, where he died. The nature of his injuries remains unclear. The driver of the other vehicle, a 31-year-old woman from Stephentown, New York, was not hurt.

Police are still looking into the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed.
