(WWLP) – The worst of the rain is finally over, and flash flood watches and warnings that had been issued for western Massachusetts have been called off.
The entire region had been under a flash flood watch for days, as heavy downpours created the risk for floods on roadways and on small streams. A flash flood warning was declared for Berkshire County during the early morning hours as bands of intense rain moved into the region.
