Pet Corner: Frank Sinatra

Name: Frank Sinatra
Breed: Alaskan Husky/Lab mix
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Color: Tan and white
Date of Arrival at Dakin: 7/10/14
Reason for Surrender and Description: Found as stray.

Description:

Frank (“Ol’ Blue Eye” – he has one blue eye, one brown eye) Sinatra was found as a stray, so we don’t have background info about what other types of animals he may have lived with, or what his history is, but in spending time with him, our staff has determined that he is very friendly, but will become nervous with strangers, especially men, sometimes to the point of retreating.

Frank is bound to do well in a home setting, and if someone works with him to help his confidence building with the right amount of training and praise, that will surely make a difference in his demeanor. He would be a good candidate for Dakin’s dog training classes, which will be discounted for his adopter.

Being two years old, Frank is a healthy young dog who will enjoy being outdoors with his new companion or family, and will benefit from a loving, bonding environment.
