GUILFORD, Conn. (AP) — A 25-year-old Guilford man is accused of using social media to have sexually explicit conversations with children and send nude photos of himself to those girls.
Jason Murphy was charged Thursday with using a computer to entice a minor, risk of injury to a minor and misrepresentation to entice a minor.
Police tell the New Haven Register that Murphy used the Kik Messenger service to exchange photos and attempt to meet the girls.
Murphy has been in custody since March after being arrested on a sexual assault charge involving a 13-year-old. Police say they are still investigating his activities and expect more charges to be filed.
He is being held in lieu of $650,000 and is due in court on July 21.
