Suspect in Google exec’s death tied to Milton case

(WXIA) It’s a case that involves sex, drugs and an Atlanta-area prostitute. Alix Tichelman is sitting in a California jail, charged with manslaughter for allegedly injecting a high-profile Google executive with heroin and then standing by as he overdosed.

Dean Riopelle’s death in September 2013 was originally ruled a heroin overdose. Sound familiar? His girlfriend, Alix Tichelman, told police she found him lying on the floor. But after these latest developments, police are looking into her story again.

“Both subjects in these cases died of heroin overdoses,” said Capt. Shawn McCarty with the Milton Police Department.
