HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Brides and grooms-to-be in western Massachusetts will soon have a new option when planning a wedding.
It’s called Upper Vista and it’s being built at the highest point of the Log Cabin banquet hall complex in Holyoke.
Log Cabin owner Peter Rosskothen said they are designing the tent-like banquet hall with a capacity of about 140 to take full advantage of the spectacular view. Rosskothen told 22News that it’s what his clients want.
“We’re dealing with a couple that’s a little bit older, when I got married in my early 20s, now, people are getting married in their upper 20s and early 30s, It makes a very sophisticated customer, new and unique in different things,” Rosskothen said.
The project, which costs several hundred thousand dollars, will be ready in May of next year. But even though it has yet to open, Log Cabin/Delaney House owner Peter Rosskothen told 22News that they already have several bookings.
