CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – More strong thunderstorms moved into western Massachusetts late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service had issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Berkshire and Franklin Counties, but they have both been canceled. Also canceled was a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire, and Franklin Counties.
As the storms moved through Berkshire County, the majority of the storms weakened.
For the past week, western Massachusetts has dealt with several severe thunderstorms that have caused tree and wire damage throughout. Monday night, he was significant tree damage in Franklin County.
