HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Cocaine and a digital scale were seized by troopers during a traffic stop in Holyoke Monday evening, state police say.

According to a news release from State Police Media Relations, Robert A. Keitt, 35, of Springfield is facing drug possession and motor vehicle charges in connection with the incident.

State police say that patrolling troopers pulled Keitt over just before 6:15 P.M. He allegedly had no inspection sticker on his Dodge Caravan and was driving with a suspended license.

During their investigation, troopers say they found a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, as well as a digital scale that contained residue they believe came from cocaine and marijuana.

He was arrested and taken to the Northampton state police barracks, where he was held on $5,000 bail pending his arraignment Tuesday in Holyoke District Court.
