AIC faculty member remembered

62-year-old Craig Greenberg died last week after a short battle with brain cancer.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – American International College students, faculty and community members gathered to remember their beloved school spokesman, Craig Greenberg.

62-year-old Greenberg died last week after a short battle with brain cancer.

Greenberg was the go-to spokesperson for AIC for 34 years.

Many people at the memorial service told 22News it’s going to be very difficult to fill the void Greenberg left behind.

“Craig was always around. He was always the one setting up interviews whenever media came on campus. He was the one sending out press releases. He did so much to get good publicity for our great school,” Seth Dussault, student at AIC said.

“He had excellent contact with other people. He would take a human-interest story and go to the right people. He had a high percentage of placements. Got the college a lot of publicity. He was a valued employee,” John Fallon said.

Greenberg was also a musician and a former broadcaster.
