Man in hospital following motorcycle crash in Wales

The cause of the accident is still unknown

WALES, Mass. (WWLP) – A 27-year-old man is in the recovering after crashing his motorcycle in the Hampden County town of Wales.

Wales Police Chief Jay Hastings told 22News the man was riding his motorcycle South on Stafford Road at around 10 o’clock Saturday morning when he went off the shoulder of the road and crashed.

The man had a possible broken ankle and cuts on his head.

He was flown by helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

It’s not clear what caused the motorcycle to crash.
