Stolen minivan set on fire

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is trying to figure out who lit a stolen minivan on fire early Thursday morning.

Dennis Leger, aide to the Springfield Fire Commissioner, told 22News that crews were called to 406 Berkshire Avenue at 2:10 A.M., where they found a 2002 Dodge Caravan that was engulfed in flames.

Leger says that the arson squad reports the van is stolen, and that it was intentionally set on fire.
