Microbusinesses meet to discuss opportunities

Microbusinesses hoped to make connections in the Pioneer Valley Tuesday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Microbusinesses and corporations met in Springfield Tuesday in hopes of making new connections for success in the Pioneer Valley.

Microbusinesses typically have less than 10 employees.

Today’s event encouraged them to discuss their obstacles in the economy, and identify opportunities in which everyone could succeed.

Lucie Lewis, the owner of Creative Futures LLC, said, “So we wanted to bring them all together here in an effort to begin to share information and to build as a village on one another’s strengths and capacities so that we can begin to contribute more effectively to the community.”

The Microbusiness for Inclusion and Collaboration hosted the event.
