SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A few days after 18-year-old Caleb Worrel was shot to death at the corner Sumner Ave and Bryant Street, Friday morning, another teenager was shot in the same neighborhood early Monday evening.
Springfield Police confirmed to 22News that detectives were investigating a shooting at the corner of Dickinson Street and Kenwood Park at around 5:15 p.m. Monday evening.
Police had very little information for us except to say that they did not think the teen’s wounds were life threatening.
Over the weekend, Springfield Police arrested the two suspects involved in Worrel’s death, 19-year old Nathan Cruz and a 17-year-old whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile.
