Autopsy complete on Chicopee woman, homicide not ruled out

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A follow-up now on a story you first saw Sunday on 22News. The autopsy is complete and Holyoke police still haven’t ruled out a homicide.

Police found a 28-year-old woman from Chicopee dead near the train tracks by the Muller Bridge on Sunday morning.

Holyoke Police Lt. Jim Albert told 22News they are still treating this as a suspicious death and are waiting for the toxicology report to come back. Lt. Albert said that could take weeks or months.

They are waiting to contact a family member before releasing the victims’ name.
