MSPCA investigating abandoned cats found in Southwick

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – The MSPCA is looking for who may be responsible for abandoning more than 30 cats in Southwick.

They’ve been taken in by the Westfield homeless cat project, which is a private rescue. The cats are now starting to be adopted. Denise Sinico of the Westfield homeless cat project told 22News she believe whoever abandoned these cats, also got rid of their kittens.

“It’s the middle of kitten season behind our mind, what happened to all the kittens, all these females should have kittens somewhere,” said Sinico.

There is also a $2000 reward for anyone with information on how those cats got to Southwick.
