Western Mass. ties to Stanley Cup Finals

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – We know now the Los Angeles Kings will face off against the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup Finals.  There are some western Massachusetts ties to these franchises.

L.A. Kings goalie Jon Quick went to UMass, Kings General Manager Dean Lombardi was born in Holyoke and grew up in Ludlow, Kings Assistant Coach John Stevens played for both the Springfield Indians and Falcons.  Kings Head Athletic Trainer Chris Kingsley is a Greenfield native.

New York Rangers defenseman John Moore also played for the Springfield Falcons.
