Strawberries Three Ways with Ann Macey!

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – Nothing says summer like a plump, juicy strawberry! Ann Macey, from Ann’s Table for Two, showed us some fun ways to serve up this sweet summer fruit.

Glorified Strawberries

5 large strawberries
1/4 C. strawberry flavored cream cheese
1 tsp. sugar
1 T. mini chocolate chips

Cut each strawberry in half from the tip to the stem. With the small end of a melon baller, scoop a well from the middle of the cut side of each strawberry.
Dry the inside of each well with a small piece of paper towel. In a small bowl; combine the cream cheese and sugar.
Spoon the cream cheese evenly into the well of each strawberry half and chill for up to 4 hours.
Sprinkle each strawberry with chocolate chips just before serving.

NOTES: Plain cream cheese may be substituted. The strawberries will become soggy if left
in the refrigerator for too long. Therefore I recommend serving them within 4-6 hours of serving.
