SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Hundreds of students from across New England learned about the effects of bullying and how to prevent it from happening in their own communities.
Six Flags New England partnered with Teen Truth, a national program striving to better our schools and stop bullying.
About 300 students watched an emotional video about how they can support victims of bullying and methods to make a difference in their schools.
“When it comes to bullying, things kind of develop in a way where we can stop people before you know things blow up,” student Elsa Brockett said.
1 in 7 students from kindergarten to 12th grade is either a bully or a victim of bullying.
