NEAR WARREN, Minnesota (KVLY) – Officials have ruled that the Monday explosion of a natural gas pipeline near Warren, Minnesota was accidental.
The Viking Natural Gas pipeline exploded just before 6:30 a.m. Monday.
The blast took place in a farm field, so there were no injuries and no other property damage.
“It was rattling for about an hour,” said neighbor David Nelson.
Investigators from Viking Pipeline and Minnesota Pipeline Safety are still trying to determine what caused the blast.
