LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Patriotism was on full display in Ludlow Monday, as town residents lined the streets to pay their respect to those who died for our country.

A Memorial Day parade stepped off from Winsor Street at 9:00 A.M.

Ludlow’s parade was one of the first to take place in western Massachusetts on Monday, as most parades were scheduled for around 10:00.

The Hampden County town is among the dozens of communities across the region that are honoring America’s war dead for Memorial Day.
