Hatfield Town Election results

HATFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The challenger beat the sitting Board of Health member in Tuesday’s town elections in Hatfield.

Hatfield Town Clerk Lydia Szych told 22News that Kerry Flaherty ruined Ellen Bokina Paszek’s bid for re-election to the Board of Health.

There were only 3 contested races on the Hatfield ballot.

Brian Moriarity was a decisive winner for a 3-year term on the Hatfield Board of Selectmen.

Ronald Punska won the 3-year term for Town Assessor by a wide margin.

Szych told 22News 651 of the town’s 2,539 registered voters went to the polls to cast ballots Tuesday; almost 26% voter turnout.


  • Selectman: Brian Moriarity – 346, J. Michael Cahill – 182, Larry Williams – 119
  • Assessor: Ronald Punska – 472, Christopher Smith – 156
  • Board of Health: Kerry Flaherty – 392,  Ellen Bokina Paszek – 229.

Voter Turnout: 26%
