2 pistol whipped in Springfield home invasion

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Three men with masks allegedly forced their way into a home in Springfield’s Pine Point neighborhood Sunday night.

Springfield Police Captain Trent Duda said the home invasion occurred at at 115 Robert Dyer Circle around 7:30 p.m.

Two people that were at the home were pistol whipped by the intruders, Captain Duda said.

One person was pistol whipped on the porch of the house and knocked unconscious.  The other was hit inside the house, Captain Harry Kastrinakis said.

Captain Duda said that nothing was stolen, and the victims are not cooperating with the police investigation.

The suspects were last seen running from the home and getting into a black vehicle.
