Cancer survivors wore purple. They and their loved ones are raising money for cancer research.
Relay for Life Walks across the Pioneer Valley have given cancer survivors more hope for the future.
Karen Chapin of Hampden told 22News, “This is my 7th year. My parents are both cancer survivors. As a family we thought it was something we could do for them. You kind of feel helpless. But this is something we can do. Raise some money for a good cause.”
Relay for Life walks in many Western Massachusetts communities will raise millions of dollars for cancer research.
