(NBC) It’s been a season of change on “Saturday Night Live” with lots of new faces.
Now as the show prepares for its season finale this weekend, it welcomes back a familiar face as host: Andy Samberg.
Samberg is the latest alum discovered by “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels to go on to solo success, winning a Golden Globe for his sitcom, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”.
The show already has big plans for celebrating its 40th anniversary next season, including a three hour special that’s set to air next February.
