FALL RIVER, MASS. (WPRI) – Fall River Police have arrested a suspect in connection with several bank robberies in the city.

36-year-old Charles Solimine is charged with two counts of Armed Robbery and one count of Armed Robbery While Masked in connection with three bank robberies.

The first robbery happened at the BayCoast Bank on Bedford street in March. Solimine is also accused of robbing the Mechanics Cooperative Bank on Bedford Street on May 7 and 15.

Fall River police say they received several tips from the public after surveillance photos from the robberies were released to the media.
