VERNON, Conn. (WWLP-WTNH) – Three children from Connecticut have been found in Maine along with their mother, following an AMBER Alert issued Tuesday morning.

Police had been looking for Ryan, Dylan, and Brendan Lewis, who are aged 9, 7, and 7 respectively.
The children’s mother, Jackie Morris, is not their custodial parent. Morris is a former Southwick resident, who our sister station WTNH-TV reports had last been known to have been living in her car up in Maine.

The children did not show up for school as expected on Monday and Tuesday, and police had initially issued a lower-level Silver Alert for the children before upgrading the situation to an AMBER Alert Tuesday morning.

Vernon police had expressed concern that the children could have been in danger.
