Brush fire burns 10-acres in Granby

GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) – Granby Firefighters were helped by multiple fire departments to control a brush fire on Carver Street Monday afternoon.

According to the Granby Fire Dept. around 2:50 p.m. Monday, 15 firefighters responded to a brush fire at 250 Carver Street.

Ludlow, Belchertown, and the Department of Conservation helped in putting out the 10-acre fire; South Hadley District 2 helped with station coverage.

The brush fire burned for over four hours, and cleared around 7:30 p.m. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
