SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Zoo in Forest Park announced the arrival of the destination’s latest addition to the family: Albus. Albus is a four-month-old hybrid tiger cub who will spend the season at The Zoo warming the hearts of visitors.

“We’re very excited to have Albus as a temporary part of our family,” said Board President Christian Gainer. “He’s sure to bring a lot of excitement and smiles to The Zoo this year.”

Albus will be one of the main features for this Saturday’s Baby Days event happening from 11am-1pm.

The Zoo in Forest Park and Education Center is a non-profit organization governed by the Forest Park Zoological Society. Situated in Forest Park, a 735 acre woodland park in Springfield, the Zoo features exotic and indigenous animals representing a large variety of species found throughout the world and in North America.
