Two burned bodies found in tent

BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) – Authorities say two burned bodies have been found in the charred remains of a tent in a wooded area near an industrial park in Brockton.

The Plymouth District Attorney says that the two unidentified bodies were found late Monday afternoon after Brockton police and fire officials responded to the scene.

The DA says the bodies appeared to have suffered significant burns, but that foul play was not suspected.

An autopsy was planned by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Brockton Police Department and State Fire Marshall’s Office was investigating.
