BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, and former Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis are scheduled to appear at Boston College together to discuss the leadership challenges they faced after the Boston Marathon bombing.

Wednesday’s event will be moderated by CNN’s John King.

Four days after the bombing and hours after the suspects’ alleged slaying of MIT Officer Sean Collier, Patrick ordered residents in Boston and several neighboring communities to “shelter in place” as police combed through Watertown before eventually capturing the surviving suspect.

Though in a wheelchair at the time, Menino checked himself out of a Boston hospital where he was recovering from a back injury, to join others leading the response to the events.

Davis oversaw the city’s public safety response and the subsequent investigation.
