Cinco De Mayo Cocktails & Guacamole

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal)  Cinco De Mayo is a way to commemorate the pursuit of freedom and democracy in Mexico and today the holiday is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.  Tom Walsh and Greg Long from Mission Cantina in Amherst showed us how to make some tasty foods to help celebrate.

Ruby Coyote Margarita

  • 11/2 oz Reposado Tequila
  • 3/4 oz Orange liquor
  • 2 oz Grapfruit juice
  • 1/2 oz lime juice


Mango Paloma

  • 11/2 oz reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz Mango Puree
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • Top with seltzer water


Guacomole

  • 4 Avocado’s
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
