SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A unique chance Thursday night for Western New England University students to showcase their work.
At the 12th annual Media Festival, students presented their TV and radio news reports, commercials and short films in front of other students, faculty and local media professionals.
A panel of alumni evaluated each work and recognized the best video in each category.
Rebecca Pirog, WNEU’s student festival coordinator, told 22News “Students work hard all year, actually all four years they go here, to learn how to film, to edit and to script. So it’s a great opportunity to show everyone, what they work hard on.”
22News reporter Matt Caron was one of the judges on the alumni panel.
