Shots fired at 2 Springfield homes

INDIAN ORCHARD, Mass. (WWLP)-  Springfield police found bullets lodged into two houses in the area of Centre Street and Main Street in Indian Orchard overnight, after a report of shots fired.

Captain Harry Kastrinakis of the Springfield Police Department told 22News several shots were fired into two houses around 11:45 Monday night.

Detectives recovered shell casings, and patrols were increased in that area.

No one was found with any injuries, and no reports came in from nearby hospitals with reports of anyone with gunshot wounds, Captain Kastrinakis said.

No arrests have been made, but police are continuing to look into the incident.
