Sensational Smoothies

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) For breakfast, ditch the hot oatmeal from winter and opt for a refreshingly cool smoothie for summer instead.  Annabelle Lytle-Rich from Shelburn Falls Coffee Roasters showed us a yummy smoothie recipe that you can make at home.

Traditional Smoothie
1/3 cup raspberries
1/3 cup banana
¾ cup fresh OJ
8 oz ice
1/3 tsp vanilla
1 tablespoon dry milk (can substitute 1/3 cup yogurt)

Green Smoothie
½ Avocado
1 cup spinach
¼ pineapple
¼ cup blueberries
¾ cup almond milk
1 cup ice
