10 jurors selected in Pittsfield triple murder case

David Chalue (pictured during his 2011 arraignment at Central Berkshire District Court) is accused of the murder of Edward Frampton, Robert Chadwell, and David Glasser.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) — Jury selection will continue Wednesday for the trial of the second suspect accused of killing three men in Pittsfield.

David Chalue lawyer told 22News 10 jurors were seated Tuesday for Chalue’s trial at Hampden Superior Court.

Chalue is charged in connection with the 2011 murders of, David Glasser, Robert Chadwell, and Edward Frampton, who were from Pittsfield.

The first man tried in this case was Hell’s Angel member, Adam Lee Hall. He was convicted and given three consecutive life sentences without parole back in February this year.

Chalue is being charged for also playing a role in the 2011 murders of three Pittsfield residents, David Glasser, Robert Chadwell, and Edward Frampton.

The back to back trials are being held here in Springfield, because the defendants’ lawyers feared too many people in Berkshire County were familiar with the case and the suspects.
