Preparing for a Yard Sale
1. Organize items into different groups for prices ranges. Dollar section, 5 dollar, 20, 50. Place colored stickers on items for different prices.
2. Advertise for exposure. Paper, online, make signs to post around. Mention a few items you are selling.
3. Have help available
4. Put items out in yard or by sidewalk for exposure
5. Don’t price too high if you really want to get rid of your items
Get to sale early for best picking.
Know what items are worth.
Bring a magnifying glass.
Bring cash (cash talks) better leverage.
Buy in bulk. Group several pieces together to buy at a lower price.
