CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – 19 communities in western Massachusetts will participate in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 26th.
You’re asked to clean out your medicine cabinets of unwanted and outdated prescription drugs to help prevent theft and abuse.
On Saturday towns and cities will set up stations to drop off your prescription drugs. Areas participating include Northampton, Easthampton, Belchertown, Granby and Ware among others.
Since 2011, the Northwestern DA’s Office, the DEA and local police have collected more than 7 tons of unwanted and outdated prescription drugs.
