Ludlow man arrested for jewelry store robbery

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a jewelery store.

Sgt. Daniel Valadas told 22News they arrested 20 year old Dillon Roulston. He allegedly went into J&M Jewelers at 281 East Street just before noon and asked the owner to see a gold necklace valued at $3,500. When the owner handed it to Roulston, he allegedly ran out of the store. The owner chased after him.

Police set up a perimeter and used a poalice dog to track Roulston to an apartment building at 305 West Street. He was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery.

He’ll be in court on Tuesday in Palmer.
